Essence is the international study association for the Avans School of Life Sciences for Sustainability, Ecosystems and Technology (ALST) faculty at the Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. Our student association is mainly focused on the Environmental Science program, but of course, everyone is welcome. We aim to bring students together and provide them with a safe space for academic growth, and social interaction as well as help international students get acquainted with Dutch culture.
